Set Up Mail To Check Mail and Send Mail (Mac OS X)

In Mail go to the Mail menu and select Preferences

Click on the Accounts icon across the top, then click on the "+" in the lower left hand corner.

Step 1 - In the Account Type field, select POP
Step 2 - In the Email Address field, enter your email address. For example: username@ncn.net
Step 3 - In the Full Name field, type your name the way you would like people to see it when they receive email from you. For example: John Doe.
Step 4 - In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter mail.ncn.net
Step 5 - In the User Name field, enter the first part of your email address without the @ncn.net
Step 6 - In the Password field, type in your password.
Step 7 - Click on the Server Settings button.

Step 1 - In the Authentication field, select Password.
Step 2 - In the User Name field, enter the first part of your email address without the @ncn.net
Step 3 - In the Password field, type in your password.
Step 4 - Click OK

Click the Red close circle in the upper left corner to close Accounts

Click Save to save the new email account. This completes the basic setup - you should now be able to send and receive email in Mail.
