Web Specialist

This individual will be responsible for maintaining websites for customers on a daily basis as well as maintaining Northwest websites.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Superior knowledge of current web-design and electronic media trends and techniques
  • Working knowledge Photoshop and Dreamweaver applications
  • Working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS and web authoring tools. Formal training and/or certification a plus
  • Experience with implementing, managing, and designing websites
  • Experience with cross-browser issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PHP and Drupal a plus
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Mature understanding of design principles such as layout, color, typography, and information design
  • Must be a strong self-starter and able to work independently
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

One or two years of web design experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced coursework in graphic and web design preferred.


Technical Support Representative (Internet Connectivity)

Technical Support Representatives will provide technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling / reinstalling basic software applications, verifying proper hardware and software set up, power cycling equipment, assisting with navigating around application menus and troubleshooting email issues. Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. Representatives will perform related work as required.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:

  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services;
  • Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms;
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, IPTV, and more;
  • Research required information using available resources;
  • Follow standard processes and procedures including using customer software Connectwise.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource;
  • Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software;
  • Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business;
  • Organize ideas and communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations;
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary;
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:

  • Proper phone etiquette;
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar;
  • Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment;
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices;
  • Effective listening skills;
  • Willingness to co-operate with others and work to the greater good;
  • Multi-tasking capabilities;
  • Weekend working availability on a Saturday or Sunday


Direct/Indirect Sales

We are looking for a talented and motivated Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, in-person customer contact, generating interest, and qualifying prospects and closing sales. This position includes an excellent full-time benefit package and is located at our Havelock office


Network Technician

Under general supervision, identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of various servers, desktop systems, network Internet and other computer technology; troubleshoot and solve local-area network problems; provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software; install, test, certify and troubleshoot networking cabling systems; install configured network equipment; provides technical expertise to end-users regarding optimal set-up for software, hardware and network use; install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot a wide range of network and data communications software and hardware; train users in various software applications and network-related procedures; and perform related work as required.
