Many customers have been receiving another phishing attempt this week, this time stating that their account will be deactivated because of suspicious activity.
Phishing is the process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy source in an email.
As we strive to achieve the best possible support, please remember that no Northwest Communications personnel will ever ask you for your email address or password through an email. If you receive an email asking for your user name and password or any other personal information, please disregard it. It is a fraudulent attempt to get information from you.

This is to inform you that your ncn.net Account will be deactivated shortly because of some suspicious activities. If you feel that we sent you this email in error, please contact us immediately to get your Account reactivated.
To ensure that you do not experience service interruption, reply to this email immediately and enter your ncn.net E-mail address/Username here: () and your Password here: () to enable us to restore your account for improved online services.
A confirmation link will be sent to you for Re-Activating ncn.net Account, you are click on the confirmation link that will be sent to you to restore your ncn.net Account.
Failure to do this, your e-mail address will be deactivated from our database.
