Making Websites
Affordable You lease office space and
vehicles, why not your businesses' website? Northwest
Communications has introduced website leasing plans to help
make websites even more affordable for our customers.
Website leasing gives you the marketing power of a
professional website, without a large upfront cost. Your cost
can be spread over 36 months, and leave cash to for you to run
your business. After 36 months, you have the flexibility to
purchase the website for $1.00 and continue on a hosting plan,
or renew your lease and have your website redesigned to keep
it fresh and up to date. A website should always be kept up to
date because search engines favor sites that are updated
frequently. Your business also earns credibility with website
visitors by always having up to date information.

Here are just a few of the benefits of
leasing your website: 1. Maximizes your current budget.
Website leasing offers low monthly
payments that leave cash for you to run your
business. 2. Easy to update. Our
websites are available with maintained
hosting plans. Simply email us your changes
and keep your website up to date
every month! 3. Conserve capital and preserve credit lines.
Website leasing won't disrupt your
existing credit lines with your
lenders. Leasing a website essentially gives your business
an additional line of credit. 4.
Current Technology. Website leasing ensures that your
website is kept up to date with the
latest in design elements and
technology. 5. Flexible payment plans. We have leasing
plans to fit every budget. Create a
simple starter website, or upgrade from
your current website.

Windows XP - End
of Life
With all the hype about
Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 7, it seems that
information about Windows XP has faded into the background.
For those of you still using Windows XP, some very big changes
are headed your way. As of July 13, 2010, Microsoft will
stop support on most versions of Windows XP. If you are
using an unsupported version, your computer will
continue to function, however, unsupported computers will not
receive any of the software updates from Microsoft. These
include security updates that can help protect your computer
from viruses and spyware which can steal your
personal information or harm your computer. Windows updates
also install the latest software updates to improve the
reliability of Windows.
Not sure what version of
Windows your computer is running? Here's how to find out:
1. Click on the Start Menu in the lower left corner
of your screen. 2. Type winver into the search
box 3. You should see a box pop up telling you which
version of Windows you are running, which service pack is
installed, and other helpful information about your
computer.
Microsoft recommends upgrading all
PCs to Windows 7. Windows 7 is fully supported, and the best
way to be secure. Updating your computer before July 13th
will ensure your PC remains supported and you receive security
updates.

Northwest Communications is
a Microsoft Gold Partner and happy to help you and your
business through this transition. If you have any questions
about Windows XP no longer being supported, please contact our
office at 800.249.5251.
