Set Up Outlook 2002/2003 To Check Mail and Send Mail (Win)

In Outlook, go to the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts.

In E-mail Accounts, select Add a new e-mail account.
Click Next.

Select POP3 from the list.
Click Next.

Step 1. - In the Your Name field, type your name the way you would like people to see it when they receive e-mail from you. For example: John Doe.
Step 2. - In the E-mail Address field, enter your e-mail address. For example: username@ncn.net
Step 3. - In the Incoming mail server field, enter mail.ncn.net
Step 4. - In the Outgoing mail server field, enter mail.ncn.net
Step 5. - The User Name field will fill in automatically, continue to the Password field and type in you password.
Click the More Settings button.

Click the Outgoing Server tab at the top and select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication field.
Click OK.

Click Next.

Click Finish. This completes basic setup - you should now be able to send and receive e-mail in Outlook.
