Set Up Mozilla Thunderbird To Check Mail and Send Mail (Win)
In Thunderbird, go to the Tools menu and select Account Settings
On the Account Settings screen, select the Add Account button.
Select Email account, then click Next >
In the Your Name field, type your name the way you would like people to see it when they receive email from you. For example: John Doe.
In the Email address field, enter your email address, For example: username@ncn.net
Click Next >
In the Incoming Server field, enter mail.ncn.net
Remove the check in front of Use Global Inbox.
For the Outgoing Server field, enter mail.ncn.net
Click Next >
In the Incoming User Name field, type in the first part of your email address without the @ncn.net. For example username
Click Next >
In the Account Name field, type in the name you would like to refer to this account.
Click Next >
Click Finish
Click OK. This completes the basic setup - you should be able to send and receive email in Thunderbird.
