Lee Thorson

Lee Thorson, a cellist and instructor from Rolfe, Iowa, has been conductor of the Cherokee Symphony since 1981. A long time member of the Sioux City Symphony, he is currently adjunct faculty at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, gives private violoncello lessons, and is a member and Artistic Director of the Vista Chamber Players, a string quartet which performs for weddings and receptions throughout Northwest Iowa.
